Alison Brings Its Save Courses Feature to Its App, Enabling Learners to Keep Course Choices Close at Hand

Friday, 24th July 2026

GALWAY, IRELAND - 2026-07-24

Alison has extended its Save Courses feature to its App, giving Learners a simple way to bookmark courses from their phone and keep study options ready for later.

The mobile update follows Learner requests and App Store reviews asking for the feature, which went live on iOS on 10th June and Android on 22nd June. It brings the same practical course-saving experience recently added on the website into everyday mobile learning.

Bookmark Courses Now, Begin Learning Whenever Ready

Many Learners use the Alison App while commuting, taking a break, or quickly exploring a topic between other commitments. The new save button on each course page gives them a quick way to keep hold of courses they want to revisit without needing to enrol straight away. Once a course is saved, it is added to the Learner's App Dashboard, making it easier to compare options, return to a useful course, and start learning when the timing is right.

A Feature Requested by Learners

The Save Courses feature on the App was shaped by user feedback, including several App Store reviews that called for the ability to bookmark courses.

By making course choices easier to keep track of on mobile, Alison is reducing a small but common point of friction in online learning: finding something valuable, then losing the thread before there is time to begin.

A Connected Experience Across Web and App

The App release builds on the Save Courses feature launched recently on Alison's website. Together, these updates make course discovery more consistent across devices, so that Learners can browse, save, and return to courses whether they are using Alison on the web, iOS, or Android.

That consistency matters for Learners who move between devices during the day. A course discovered on a phone no longer has to be an immediate decision; it can become part of a personal shortlist for the next step in their learning.
