This makes it simple to explore the subjects you want to master.

Categories organise Alison’s 6,000+ courses into broad fields like Business, Health, or IT, while Tags drill down into specific topics and skills within those areas. For example, within the Business category, Tags might include Entrepreneurship, Customer Service, or Accounting. Tags make it easier to explore niche learning topics relevant to your interests or profession.

Alison has over 6,000 courses and learning verticals across nine core subject categories, at Certificate and Diploma levels. There is no time limit for completing a course. All courses are accredited by CPD UK, the continuing professional development institution in the United Kingdom.

The good news is that it’s free to learn on Alison! There is no cost for you to study and complete any of the courses offered by Alison. Once you’ve completed a course, you’ll have the option to purchase a printed or digital Certificate.

If you don’t purchase a Certificate or Diploma, you can download your free Learner Record. This is official confirmation of the courses you have completed with Alison and the results you have achieved. Your Learner Record can be found in your Profile/Dashboard.
