Ethan Moran is a commission portrait artist based in Galway, Ireland. He began drawing at the age of five and quickly discovered a love of art. Having learned by researching and watching online drawing tutorials, he progressed from simple cartoons to line drawings and realistic renders of the human form.
At 13 Ethan began doing commission portraits and exhibiting at his school. He then began working for a youth organisation in Ireland, helping children to learn to draw and paint and found this extremely rewarding. It was only through his understanding and knowledge of art and drawing that he was capable of doing that work.
Through his course, Ethan aims to help other people discover that despite the contradictory nature of art which can be both thrilling and relaxing, frustrating and fulfilling, it is ultimately extremely rewarding. His training covers everything from the basics of pencils to drawing realistic images, and incorporates everything he has learned along the way to help escalate learners’ drawing abilities faster than they could imagine."
