1. How did you first come across Alison?
I first came across Alison through a Goodwill job training website and a resource recommendation that pointed me towards tech and digital courses. I was a stay-at-home wife and had been feeling lost after leaving university, so finding Alison felt like a lifesaver. The flexibility meant I could start learning straight away and helped me realise that tech and digital tools are where I want to be.
2. What did you study? List the courses and tell us why you studied those courses in particular.
I studied four courses because I wanted to develop skills in content creation, project management and digital productivity.
Business Fundamentals for Content Creators helped me understand the core mechanics of building, scaling and managing a content-driven business.
Project Management for Content Creators taught me how to create structured workflows, organise tasks and manage projects more efficiently.
Fundamentals of Google Docs - Increased Productivity helped me improve my day-to-day efficiency, organise documents and work more effectively with others.
Google Apps for Personal and Business Use helped me incorporate cloud-based productivity tools into my personal projects and plans for business growth.
3. How has learning on Alison helped your career?
After university became too expensive for me to finish, anxiety also made attending in-person classes feel overwhelming. Learning completely online with Alison has not caused me that same anxiety. It has given me a clear and empowering path forward and helped me recognise that tech and digital work are the right direction for me.

4. What advice would you give to others who have not yet found Alison or who have not found out about learning online for free?
Dive right in and do not hesitate. Traditional education can be expensive and overwhelming, but online learning can open new doors. If you feel stuck, lost or held back by anxiety or cost, take the first step. Explore what sparks your interest and build your confidence on your own terms.
