1. How did you first come across Alison?

I first came across Alison on Instagram.

2. What did you study? List the courses and tell us why you studied those courses in particular.

I took a beginner tattoo course to learn the fundamentals, including how tattoo machines work and how to practise safely and effectively.

I am now studying an advanced course with Lily Lu, where I am learning about blackwork, shading techniques, safety procedures and working with clients. I chose these courses because they gave me a clear starting point and a path to keep developing my skills.

3. How has learning on Alison helped your career?

Learning on Alison gave me the foundations I needed to start and helped me understand where to begin. Other places charged more than $100 for a beginner course, so accessing this learning for free made a real difference for me.

4. What advice would you give to others who have not yet found Alison or who have not found out about learning online for free?

My advice is to start now. Alison has thousands of free courses that can help you learn and work towards the career you want. Alison is like the foundation for your career.
