I first came across Alison through social media.

2. What did you study? List the courses and tell us why you studied those courses in particular.

I chose to study a diploma in ICT hardware and software because I have a deep passion for technology and want to build a career where I can innovate and contribute to digital solutions. I focused on computer architecture and hardware maintenance, which taught me how to assemble and troubleshoot physical computer components, and Operating Systems, where I learned to configure software such as Windows and Linux. 

I also studied data communication and networking so I could understand how devices connect and share data securely. Alison’s Diploma in Information Technology and Support helped me move from being a user of technology to someone who can write code and manage data. 

Together, these subjects gave me an end-to-end understanding of physical machines and digital logic, preparing me to solve real-world problems and add value to the future of technology.

3. How has learning on Alison helped your career?

Learning through Alison helped bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application. The industry-focused, self-paced learning allowed me to explore practical hardware troubleshooting and software deployment at my own speed.
