The FRC National Forum Mental Health Promotion Project provides education, training, and best practice guidance to the staff and volunteers of all 121 Irish Family Resource Centres around suicide prevention, wellness, recovery action planning, self-care, resilience building, and positive mental health promotion.

They promote shared responsibility and response to the action of suicide. They also foster collaborative partnerships with all relevant agencies, organisations, and other stakeholders and strive to raise awareness, reduce the stigma associated with mental health difficulties and reduce the number of suicides in Ireland.

Members of the FRC National Forum have the opportunity to participate in bespoke training programmes and in local, regional, and national initiatives to support the work of Family Resource Centres. More recently the FRC National Forum is also involved in providing governance and compliance support and access to funding opportunities for FRCs. The National Forum is serviced by a staff team headed up by its Chief Executive Officer. To learn more about The FRC National Forum Mental Health Promotion Project and what they have to offer, take a look at their LinkedIn profile here.
