Steve King has a B.Sc. degree in Health and Human Services and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. He has worked in the fields of stockbroking, private investigation, hospitality management, child-care and was a court service Justice of the Peace.
Steve has three online learning courses on the issues of PTSD, Authenticity and Addiction. Steve’s awards include being named Citizen of the Year in 1987, the Downtown Rotary Club’s Good Citizen Award, the Sports Leadership Award in 2001, the Sports BC President’s Award in 2004 and in 2012 he was inducted into the Athletics BC Hall of Fame.
Steve has worked at Pathways Addictions Resource Centre in Penticton since 1989 and has authored two books on energy psychology and PTSD entitled, `Rapid Recovery: Accelerated Information Processing and Healing and PTSD: Cleaning and Clearing Shock and Trauma. He has also authored ’12 Steps to Authenticity’ and ‘The Book of Existential Questions’.
