Diane Shaher is a freelance animator that graduated from Sheridan college's Bachelor of Animation program in 2017. Upon graduating she received an award for "Excellence in 2D Animation" from Wildbrain studios, which was formerly known as DHX media. Her thesis film "SKATE" was featured in multiple film festivals across North America, which brought her a plethora of opportunities post-graduation.

Diane has been in the animation industry for 4 years and has worked on multiple TV shows for major networks including Netflix, Amazon and Disney Channel. Some of the shows include "Carmen Sandiego", 'Little Big Awesome", and "Hotel Transylvania". She recently segued to freelancing in the advertising realm, where she is currently working on honing her motion graphics skills.

In 2019, Diane was approached by Skillshare to become a teacher. She then took on the task of creating online courses for those seeking to learn animation. In 2021, she was also approached by Alison to do the same. She hopes that people will be able to learn animation for much less than what is offered in universities and colleges.
