Diane Shaher is a freelance animator who graduated from Sheridan College in Canada with a Bachelor's degree in Animation in 2017. Upon graduating she received an award for 'Excellence in 2D Animation' from Wildbrain Studios. Her thesis film, 'SKATE', was featured in multiple film festivals across North America, which brought her a plethora of opportunities post-graduation.
Shaher has been in the animation industry for several years and has worked on multiple TV shows for major networks including Netflix, Amazon and Disney Channel. Some of the shows include 'Carmen Sandiego', 'Little Big Awesome' and 'Hotel Transylvania'. She segued to freelancing in the advertising realm, where she is working on honing her motion graphics skills.
In 2021, she was also approached by Alison to create online courses for those seeking to learn animation. She hopes that people will be able to learn animation for much less than what is charged at universities and colleges.
