Why can't I access the custom allocate feature?
Custom Allocate is a feature accessible via LMS+ only. With Free LMS, you'll be using the 'auto allocate' feature. To gain the flexibility of assigning certificates in a manner of your choosing, upgrade to an LMS+ subscription. Contact our Learning Advisors to learn more about the other features in LMS+.

How do I buy certificates for my team?
To buy certificates, go to the 'Manage my Certificates' section on the side dashboard. Choose the 'Purchase Certificates' button on the top right. If it's your first time buying, you'll also see prompts on the dashboard directing you to our Free LMS shop.
What is the benefit of purchasing certificates?

Certificates are a part of your toolkit as a learning leader and are one of the ways you can drive a culture of continuous professional development. They act as powerful tangible incentives which foster employee motivation and keep your team fully invested in their professional growth, making upskilling a real success.
What happens to my Certificate Bank if I downgrade my plan?
Any certificates already in your Certificate Bank remain available after a plan downgrade. You will not lose purchased certificates. However, your bulk discount rate will change to match your new plan, which will apply to any future purchases.
Can I buy certificates in advance before my learners complete a course?
Yes. You can purchase certificates in advance through the LMS Shop and they will be added to your Certificate Bank. Once a learner completes a course, you or a Group Manager can allocate a certificate to them from the bank. Pre-purchasing is a good way to ensure certificates are available as soon as learners finish.
What happens to unused complimentary certificates at the end of the month?
Unused complimentary certificates expire at the end of the month in which they were allocated. They cannot be carried forward to the next month and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Make sure learners claim available certificates within the same billing month.
Can complimentary certificates be used for any course?
Yes. Complimentary certificates included in your LMS+ plan can be claimed for any completed course or diploma, whether it was assigned by a manager or self-enrolled by the learner.
Complimentary certificates are allocated monthly and must be claimed in the same month they are issued. They do not roll over to the following month.
What is the difference between auto-allocate and custom allocate?
Auto-allocate distributes certificates to learners on a first-come, first-served basis as they complete courses. The admin does not choose who receives a certificate - it is automatic based on completion order. This is the only allocation method available on the Free LMS.
Custom allocate (LMS+ only) lets Super Admins, Admins, and Group Managers manually select which learners receive a certificate from the Certificate Bank. This gives you full control over who is certified and when.
What is the Certificate Bank?
The Certificate Bank is your organisation's pool of purchased certificates. When you buy certificates in bulk through the LMS Shop, they are added to your Certificate Bank. Super Admins, Admins, and Group Managers can then allocate certificates from this bank to learners who have completed a course or learning path.
Certificates in the Certificate Bank do not expire. They remain available until allocated or until your account is closed.
