In this module, students will learn about preparing for the strategic planning process, including steps needed in order to establish a committee. A committee will work to assist in organizing the plan and goals in our strategic planning process. Students will also learn how to gather operational data.

In this module, Initiating the Strategic Planning Process, students will learn to develop a mission statement as well as how to develop a vision statement. Students will also learn to assess internal an external environments as well as how to perform a SWOT analysis. This module will give students the skills needed to initiate the strategic planning process.

In this module, Developing the Strategic Plan, students will learn about developing the strategic plan. This module will instruct students in how to prioritize what the strategic plan will address, how to set goals and objectives, as well as how to develop strategy for achieving goals. The module will then conclude with how to draft the strategic plan.

In this module, Executing the Plan, students will learn the steps to executing the strategic plan. After preparing, initiating, and developing their strategic plan, the final step is to execute the plan. This module will cover assigning responsibility and authority as well as how to establish a monitoring system.
