All countries provide detailed syllabi for every subject that needs to be taught to children based on their age/ grade

What is not provided is the actual teaching elements, the courses of learning that teachers need to teach and students need to learn to fulfil the standards of learning to answer the outline of the various syllabi.

There is an abundance of freely available content on the internet that fulfills the requirements of any country’s syllabi, however, courses, and good teaching elements with proven efficacy in a classroom are hard to find. We want to make these high quality learning resources easier to find and use. That's where UFS steps in.

All national syllabi are different. We need expert help from qualified teachers in each country and each subject to help us align teaching resources.

For instance, Algebra in math is broken down differently in many countries. How do we create a listing system for Algebra that allows all national syllabi on the subject to sit side by side so we can align the high quality (and free!) learning teaching resources?

Similar issues are present across nearly all subjects being taught.

We have many national syllabi listed. We now want to go find and match the content.

This is a big task – but many hands make light work - and the world needs this resource. Once we have all the syllabi listed with matching content, we will have the makings of a free online high school for every country in time.
