Instructor Uni was born in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and grew up loving languages and novels. She majored in English language and literature at Yonsei University in Seoul and, after completing her working holiday in Vancouver, Canada, she decided to be a Korean teacher. Uni has experience teaching one-on-one Skype TOPIK lectures, worked at Seattle Tacoma Korean school and taught introductory Korean for exchange students at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. She has featured in two seasons of content for 'Unicorn Korean', a Korean language series now available on Alison.
With a Master's degree in Korean as a foreign language from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Uni is also certified as a Korean language teacher by the Korean government.
