JA Europe is the largest non-profit in Europe dedicated to preparing young people for employment and entrepreneurship. It is a member of JA (Junior Achievement) Worldwide which since 1919 has delivered hands-on, experiential learning in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy.
Junior Achiecement creates pathways for employability, job creation and financial success. The JA network in Europe reaches annually almost four million young people across 40 countries with the support of nearly 100 000 business volunteers and over 140 000 teachers and educators.
JA Europe works at all levels of education, from learning your ABCs to gaining a PhD. It helps train teachers and ensure curricula focus on developing entrepreneurial skills needed for the jobs of the future and society at large. JA Europe build partnerships between education and the business sector. It encourages cross-ministerial co-operation at national level to support entrepreneurship education., and leverages learning technologies to appeal to 21st century learners and increase the impact of education.
