Alison Launches Annual Subscription Plan For Offline Learning, Making Course Downloads More Affordable

Wednesday, 10th June 2026

GALWAY, IRELAND - 2026-06-10

Alison has introduced a new Annual Plan for Offline Learning, giving people a lower-cost way to download courses and learn without needing a constant internet connection.

Rolled out on the Alison App on 18 May 2026, the new Annual Plan costs $40. Learners can still choose the monthly Unlimited Plan at $5 for course downloads, but the annual option reduces that cost by a third for those who want ongoing access to downloaded courses.

Built Around Real Learning Habits

Offline Learning is designed for people who want to continue learning when internet access is unreliable or simply unavailable. By downloading courses in advance, Learners can keep building skills while travelling, commuting or working away from home. The new Annual Plan makes that flexibility more affordable for people who expect to use Offline Learning throughout the year.

This is especially useful for Learners who rely on downloaded courses regularly, or who prefer to plan their learning over a longer period. It keeps the same core benefit of unlimited course downloads while making the pricing simpler and better value for committed App users.

A Commitment to Removing Barriers to Education

This Annual Plan is more than just a cost-saving measure; it’s a commitment to making education more accessible. By making year-round Offline Learning affordable, Alison reaffirms its mission: empowering millions to build skills, gain confidence, and improve their lives, regardless of their location or internet stability.

With the new Annual Plan, Alison App users gain total control over their learning journey. This significant saving — a full year of unlimited course downloads for the price of eight months — empowers committed Learners to build skills consistently, ensuring that an unreliable internet connection never interrupts their progress towards a better tomorrow.
