In this module, you will be introduced to Tableau, a software similar to Microsoft Excel. You will be walked through Tableau's interface and learn how to create a variety of charts and pies, as well as learn the shortcuts and data types involved in making column and bar charts and filled and symbol maps. While learning how to create these charts using Tableau you will also learn about the information necessary for each and the types of analysis that can be completed with each.

In this module, you will continue to learn how to create charts and maps using Tableau software. This includes the required fields for each chart, the definition for each and what kind of analysis can be completed. You will examine the similarities and differences between discrete and continuous line charts. You will learn about the functions available in Tableau and compare those to the functions that are found in Microsoft Excel, as well as study conditional formatting in both.

In this module, you will learn about different methods in Tableau that you can use to manipulate the data in your charts. This includes table calculations, compute using and relative to options. You will learn how to create animated column charts, line charts and a combination of the two in a single worksheet. You will also learn the basics of even more charts, graphs and maps while exploring more advanced techniques used to display your data.
