This course provides in-depth training on the provision of psychosocial support to survivors of GBV. We explain the principles of psychosocial support and the psychological, emotional, and social impacts of GBV.

The course then looks at the GBV referral pathway to safely link survivors and those at risk of GBV to supportive and competent services. We cover the psychological first-aid (PFA) action principles of look, listen and link and examples of complex reactions by people in distress.
