Course Information

Learn how to use English verbs and add useful phrases to your vocabulary with this free online English language course.

This beginner English course covers basic verbs and action words. We explain how to use 'can' to discuss your abilities and how to ask and answer questions using the simple present tense of the verb. We use audio recordings of native English speakers to help you improve your listening skills, accent and pronunciation.

We then study auxiliary verbs such as 'am', 'is', 'are', 'was' and 'were' as we show you how to reply to auxiliary verb questions. We also cover first, second and third person verb forms, which include 'I am', 'You are' and 'He/She/It is'. The course examines 'Do/Does' questions before covering the use of the ‘subject-verb-object’ structure in simple sentences (for example: “He learns English.”).

Millions of people all over the world speak English as a second language and this course helps you join them. We help you master simple verb forms and phrases that will bring you closer to fluency in English. Sign up to improve your use of this global language to open personal and professional doors.
