Course Information

This course will give you a proper introduction to OSHA, its famous standards, and basic working methods.

Occupational safety forms the core of an industrial operation. To ensure seamless enforcement of occupational safety laws and practices, various organizations have been created around the world. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is relatively well-known. This US-based organization has benchmarked many occupational safety and health standards worldwide.

With this course, the course developers at Exoexcellence Consultants have aimed to familiarize students with the essential workings of OSHA and how it conducts its inspections. It has been divided into three comprehensive topics to ensure proper delivery of the course’s learning materials. The first topic gives an introduction to OSHA and the way it develops its standards.

The other two topics discuss how OSHA enforces its standards, employers’ responsibilities, and different OSHA consultation programs. We have also included brief content from our other OSHA courses to depict what an OSHA standard looks like and its essential components. A comprehensive list of assessment questions also follows each topic, thus solidifying the concepts taught throughout the course.
