Alison has launched Attestation Letters, a new document that allows Learners who have purchased a Certificate to share verified evidence of their course completion and final assessment result.
Available through the Claimed Certificates section of the Learner Dashboard, each Attestation Letter includes the Learner’s final course assessment score, a QR verification code, and an authorised signature. The feature adds another layer to how Learners can present their Alison achievements.
Attestation Letters Show the Result Behind the Certificate
Completing an Alison course involves successfully meeting its assessment requirements. Attestation Letters make the outcome of that assessment easier for Learners to demonstrate.
Each Letter records the Learner’s final course assessment score alongside their completed course, providing information that does not appear on the Certificate itself. This can be useful when a Learner wants to provide more detail about their performance, rather than simply confirming that a course was completed.
For someone applying for a job, pursuing further education, or documenting professional development, that creates a fuller record of the achievement they are presenting.
A QR Code Lets Recipients Verify the Achievement
An Attestation Letter is designed to be useful after it has been shared.
Its QR verification code allows an employer, educational institution, or other recipient to verify the document and its connection to the Learner’s Alison achievement. An authorised signature provides an additional formal element to the record.
This gives recipients a direct way to check what has been presented to them, while giving Learners a document they can confidently use outside the Alison platform.
From Completing a Course to Demonstrating the Outcome
The launch expands the options available to Learners after they have completed a course and purchased their Certificate.
A Certificate can demonstrate that the course was successfully completed. An Attestation Letter can support situations where a Learner is asked for more: their final assessment result and a way for the recipient to verify the achievement.
By making that information available in a shareable document, Alison is helping Learners carry more evidence of their learning into job applications, further study, and professional development.
