This course walks you through every step of creating an Arduino-based game to be played on your PC and controlled by an Arduino board. First, you will learn about software like Arduino and Processing and hardware requirements, including an ultrasonic sensor, an Arduino Nano, and four connecting wires. After that, we learned about downloading and installing Arduino IDE and Fritzing, two software required for programming the game and designing circuitry.
Next, the course delves into the ultrasonic sensor's components, features, and functionality. It also presents the formula for calculating the separation between the sonar sensor and the item. The method of creating a schematic wiring diagram with Fritzing software and doing a simulation with Tinkercad is then covered. Following that, we provide a quick tour of the Arduino and Fritzing user interfaces, including distinctive features like tabs for creating new files, uploading codes, and searching for items.
The course concludes by addressing the game design process in Processing software, which includes writing simple coding lines for adding the serial library and creating different variables and functions to define the objects' shapes and colours. Finally, you will study code verifying and practical testing of your gameplay. This course is optimal for mastering Arduino and Processing programming and even C++ in one easy bundle.
