Learn Spanish: Weather and Present Continuous Tense

These Spanish classes help you to learn basic Spanish pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. We have divided this course into three sections: pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, each representing an important building element of the Spanish language. Our first topic explains how to use irregular verbs in the present tense and demonstrates how to change Spanish spellings from ‘E’ to ‘IE’, ‘O’ to ‘UE’, and ‘E’ to ‘I’.

The course then compares the present simple and present continuous forms of verbs. We discuss gerunds and their various endings. These Spanish grammar lessons enable you to use the present continuous tense to describe ongoing activities.

Our final section provides words used to discuss the weather and seasons. We go through vocabulary that describes the clothes you wear during different seasons and explain how to start a conversation by asking about the weather. We identify which months belong to which season and discuss how this varies between countries and hemispheres.
