Learn Spanish: Higher Education and Perfect Modals

Perhaps you are a college student or are thinking about going to college. Maybe you’ve already obtained a college degree and would like to learn Spanish to further your career. This Spanish course helps you to widen your vocabulary and gather useful terms pertaining to university life. We explain how to use Spanish to identify people and places on campus and how to use Spanish conversational terms to become more familiar with the terminology and definitions of specific university degrees.

After completing our vocabulary section, these Spanish classes focus on two key grammar points. First, we review the present perfect tense, known as the ‘pretérito perfecto compuesto’ in Spanish. We explain how to conjugate verbs using the present perfect tense and compare the present perfect and the simple past tense. Our second grammar point discusses perfect modals and teaches you how to use perfect modals to express regret, obligation, judgment, possibility and ability and to draw conclusions.
