ISO 14067 - Managing the Carbon Footprint of Products

Carbon footprint is the total measurement of the greenhouse gases, especially the carbon dioxide. These gases can be emitted across the production life cycle of a given product and contribute significantly to the dangers of global warming. ISO 14067 is a standard which deals with this issue and provides organizations with a comprehensive framework with which they can measure the environmental impact of their activities across a product’s life cycle and then take measures to reduce that impact.

The first module explains climate change and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from different perspectives, especially in light of the ISO 14067 standard. Both these clauses contain the most crucial requirements of the standard, such as the definition of goal and scope, system boundary, data and its quality, and dealing with specific GHG emissions, etc.
