Intermediate English 304

This course is the fourth in the 'Intermediate English' series. It aims to first introduce you to vocabulary related to life at university, with a particular focus on identifying people and places on a university campus. You will then become more familiar with the terminology and definitions of selected university degrees. You will use these new terms and phrases in the following topics.

In the following two sections of the course, the focus will be on two key grammar points: using the present perfect tense in various ways and using perfect modals to show regret, judgement, possibility, ability, certainty and to draw conclusions. Finally, you will explore and complete activities designed to enhance your English reading, listening and speaking skills.
