How do I add my completed course to LinkedIn?

If you have completed an Alison course and purchased your Certification, you can add that achievement to your professional LinkedIn profile directly through your Alison account. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Log in to your Alison account

    • Click your Profile icon in the top right corner

    • Select Dashboard from the dropdown list

    • Go to your My Certificates widget, where you will see the number of Certifications you have purchased

    • Click the View More button to expand your My Certificates widget

    • On the right hand side of each of your available Certifications, you will see 3 icons. Click the 3rd icon to open your Learner Verification for a course

This will open the Learner Achievement Verification for that course.

Once the LAV is open, click the LinkedIn button:

This will open your LinkedIn profile where you can enter the details of your certification:

    Some useful information:

    • Certification name = Name of course

    • Certification authority = Alison - Free Online Learning

    • License number = Cert No. (as shown in Learner Achievement Verification)

    • Time period: From = The date you completed the course. Please note Alison certificates do not expire

    • Certification URL = URL as shown in the address bar of your Learner Achievement Verification

If you require any further assistance please send an email to [email protected], and our team will be happy to help.
