Description

This course begins by introducing the key elements entrepreneurs need if they are to be successful, from choosing investors carefully to hiring the right people and managing risk and reward. The course then moves on to talk about leadership and the difference between being a good and bad boss, as well as diving further into the critical skills an entrepreneur needs and detailing some of the biggest mistakes they make.

The course then moves on to take lessons from three business styles, Google, Guy Kawasaki and Endeavor. It explains why in the tech industry it’s important to build a user base before chasing money, how to make meaning in your company and the three facets of business. You will also learn why creativity can flourish under constraints and how to find evangelists for your business.

Finally, the course dives into the different types of organizational culture and whether it’s possible for one organization to contain elements of them all. You will also learn about the importance of aiming big in your entrepreneurial ventures and why so many of the most successful people in business started with an aim of changing the world.
