Are Alison courses accredited/recognised?

Continuing Professional Development, or CPD, is the process of continually developing or maintaining your professional skills. CPD helps individuals focus on how they can become a more competent and effective professional. Due to our rigorous publishing review process, courses on Alison are now being accredited by CPD UK, an independent organisation. Accredited CPD training means the learning activity has reached the required Continuing Professional Development standards and benchmarks, and the learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality. This CPD Certification Service provides recognised independent CPD accreditation compatible with global CPD requirements. This means a certificate from a course on Alison can now be used as part of your CPD requirements (please check with your organisation’s guidelines). How do I download my Learner Record?

All Alison courses are completely free to study and complete. After completing a course, you will be offered the choice to purchase a Certificate or Diploma. Paying for a certificate is completely optional. You can download your free Learner Record or Learner Verifications, which acts as proof of the courses you have completed on Alison. Your Learner Record includes all your completed and started courses. It also shows your Total Study Time for all these courses. Learner Verifications is the document that shows the stats for chosen courses only. To download your Learner Record , simply go to Settings and click Download in the Learner Record box, as per the screenshot below: To download your free Learner Achievement Verification for a specific course, please choose the Learner Verification widget: Find the course and click on the green Learner Verification button: The new page will show detailed information of the course, your study time for that course and your final score. To download the file, please click on Print a copy as shown below:
