This course will first give you an overview of HTML and CSS including their latest versions HTML5 and CSS3. You will learn how to save an HTML file in Notepad and what keys are used to create tags. You will study how to declare an HTML5 document and define the boundaries of an HTML web page. You will also learn how to represent the head section and body section of a web page, cascade style sheets, and use progressive enhancement.
You will then look into the global attributes that can be added to virtually any HTML5 element. You will study headings and learn which element represents the highest and lowest ranking heading. The course will discuss the default style setting for all of the Heading elements, the types of lists in HTML5, and the description lists. You will also study the elements that represent the rows, data cells, and header cells in a table.
