Leaving Certificate Project Maths - Higher Level

Project Maths is part of the Irish curriculum, but this course can be taken by anyone who wants to improve their understanding of high school mathematics. It provides students with videos on all the Higher Level maths topics as well as a comprehensive assessment that tests learners on the entire content of the Project Maths Higher Level syllabus. Modules cover probability and statistics, geometry and trigonometry, numbers and shapes, algebra, functions and calculus.

This course will help you to solve mathematical probability problems and statistical equations. You will learn how to use trigonometry to find the area, sides and angles of shapes, and work with different number systems and series. Next, you will be taught to calculate percentages, profit and interest, including VAT (value-added tax) and APR (annual percentage rate). Move onto solving for the length, area and volume of 2D and 3D shapes before learning to solve quadratic equations and equations with indices, including simultaneous equations. Finally, get to grips with functions and fractions.
