How will I receive notifications regarding the results of my course review?
Upon completion of the course review, you will receive an email notification from us.
In the event that updates are necessary, the Alison team will email you with feedback. You can then log into your publishing tool account to review the feedback and make the necessary corrections. (see video below)
Conversely, if the course meets the required standards, you will be informed that your course has been published.
Validation Rules
Before publishing your course, any hard rule issues must be resolved. To check for errors, click the "Scan Content for Errors" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
Once the scan is finished, a list of any detected issues will be displayed, allowing you to review and address them one by one.
These rules and notes will apply to all aspects of your course, including fields, assets, images, and videos. This process helps ensure your course is in good shape before submitting it for review.
How long does the review process take?
Your waiting period may vary between one week and four weeks, depending on the volume of applicants at any given moment. The final decision on your acceptance or rejection will be determined by the quality of your execution of the test course material, in accordance with the provided instructions.
How do you submit a course for review?
Before submitting your course for review, please make sure:
• All course descriptions are complete
• Correct grammar and punctuation is used throughout the course
• All modules, topics and assessment questions are complete
• All meta titles, descriptions and keywords are complete
• The course content does not infringe copyright or intellectual property
• Page layout conforms to the style guides and recommendations demonstrated in Qualified Alison Publisher.
• The course has been previewed and its quality verified
After reviewing the course and ensuring you’re satisfied with it, you can Submit it for Review by clicking the button available on the Module Tree Manager page, as highlighted in the image below.
Your course will be now sent to us for review. If you search for the course in the home page of the publishing team you will now see that the status has changed to Sent for review as highlighted in the image below.
Once the course has been accepted by us to review your course status will be updated to In Review as shown in the sample below.
Note that the course cannot be edited when its status is set to In Review until we update the status back to In Progress.
