1. How did you first come across Alison?

I first came across Alison through social media.

2. What did you study, and why did you choose those subjects?

I studied two courses on Alison. I first completed the Diploma in Educational Psychology, and then Introduction to Criminal Law.

I chose Educational Psychology because I am passionate about understanding how people learn, especially young women in underserved communities. The course helped me develop stronger mentoring and facilitation skills for my work with Tech Girls Drive Liberia.

I studied Criminal Law because I am pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, and I wanted to deepen my understanding of legal frameworks and justice systems.

3. How has learning on Alison helped your career journey?

Learning on Alison helped me build a solid foundation in psychology and law, which I now apply directly in my advocacy work. The knowledge I gained has improved my ability to lead workshops, mentor young women, and understand the legal and social dynamics affecting vulnerable communities. It also gave me the confidence to pursue further studies and leadership roles.

4. What advice would you give to someone who has not yet discovered Alison or free online learning?

My advice is simple: do not wait for the perfect moment to start learning. Alison offers free, high-quality courses that can open doors you did not even know existed. Whether you want to build a career, start a business or simply grow your knowledge, the resources are there. All you need is the courage to begin.
