As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial activities of our company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conducting thorough analysis of financial data and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance and achieve business objectives.
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process to support long-term planning.
• Recommend changes in policies & procedures to improve financial performance.
• Providing leadership and guidance to the finance team.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification work experience, with at least 2 years in a Financial Controller role.
• Highly analytical mindset with a strong proficiency in working with statistics and web-based analytics tools.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Preference for candidates with a base in the West of Ireland.
