With this course Excel 2013 Essentials you will learn about the basics of using MS Excel 2013. You will learn about creating and customizing workbooks in MS Excel. You will learn about saving and exporting your workbook. You will learn about modifying and applying conditional formatting. You will learn about using formulas, creating tables and charts.

The course starts off with introducing you to what an Excel workbook is and what a worksheet is, teaches you where find and select tools for finding and replacing data. Then you will be shown how to select cells, columns, rows and ranges of cells, and how to change the size of your rows and columns. You learn about specifying the data types the cells can hold. You will also learn about different views you can use to look at your workbook, how to save a workbook and share it with others. You will learn about exporting your file and changing your file type.

Lastly, you will be introduced to working with data, where you will learn about the helpfulness of the autofill, using conditional formatting to help provide ways to identify certain aspects of your data. You will learn about absolute cell reference and different formulas you can use. You will learn about creating a table, sorting and filtering the table and formatting the table. Finally you will learn about creating charts and how to format charts.
