Sophie Springer was born in Vienna, Austria, studied fashion design in Florence, Italy, and specialised in making bags, for which she learnt both the craft and the design principles.
Since 2004, Sophie has had her own bag collection called Sophie Springer (www.sophiespringer.com). From design and cutting to manufacturing, everything happens in Florence, where she has lived for more than 30 years.
For over 15 years, she has been teaching in various international fashion schools in Florence. She offers courses on draping, pattern drawing, sewing and accessories. Due to the Covid crisis, in 2020 Sophie started to teach online courses that have proven to be a highly interesting experience and a worthy challenge.
