Fathima Aafreen is a happy mother and a self-taught up-and-coming artist. She resides in Malaysia but her family is rooted in India. Nature at its best inspired her love for drawing. What started as a hobby turned into a passion in 2016 and she has never looked back. They say inspiration can come from anywhere. Well, hers is from our dear Mother Earth, which paved a way for her to be a one-stroke painting/landscape artist. Fathima has done art exhibitions in Malaysia.
Fathima is an expert in one-stroke painting. She started trying out this particular technique called 'one stroke' in 2019. The one-stroke technique was created by Donna Dewberry, also referred to as the 'one-stroke queen'. By loading more than one colour on a single brush, in one stroke we can get the light, mid-tone, and shadow effect easily.
Fathima offers personal online classes. She has more than 10 courses for one-stroke and landscape paintings on various online learning platforms. She has also collaberated online with many other teams in Malaysia and India to share, build and improve the one-stroke painting technique.
