Ermin Dedic started his studies by studying psychology for six years. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Ottawa and his master's degree from the University of Calgary, both in Canada. He also spent two years in a Masters programme on school and child psychology) at Calgary before leaving to focus more on teaching. It was via academia that he was introduced to and fell in love with statistics and statistical programming with SAS (statistical analysis system).
He developed his expertise in SAS programming and other data science topics partly via his university studies and partly through self-study. One of his courses has been featured in the popular publication 'PCMag', which was a major accomplishment for him. Dedic also has a certification in computer vision using deep learning, which supports his data science courses.
Ermin provides online video courses in the data science space. He is passionate about making education accessible and fun for students. Ermin believes that students learn better when they feel the passion the instructor has for the content.
