Job Responsibilities:
The LMS Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LMS, ensuring that it meets the needs of our employees and is continuously improving. The LMS Manager will work closely with other members of the HR team, as well as with IT, to ensure that the LMS is integrated with other systems and that it meets all compliance requirements. In addition to these duties there is also the day to day responsibility to
Oversee & manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including user accounts, courses, content, and reporting.
Maintain systems ensuring to stay up-to-date on new features and functionality in the LMS, and make recommendations for updates and upgrades. Monitor system performance, addressing technical issues if necessary.
Work with instructional designers, and other key stakeholders to create courses that meet educational or business objectives.
Provide training to new and existing users on how to use the LMS systems , including course creation & Content upload.
Gathering crucial feedback from users on systems & implementing improvements where necessary.
Provide data analysis and report creation in support of key projects.
Delegate & provide Clear guidance & direction to the team when participating in any project plans.
The LMS Manager will also be responsible for managing data feeds between the LMS and other information systems, as well as providing technical support, troubleshooting, and testing activities, when necessary.
Research, plan, and implement LMS procedures and policies to ensure security and integrity of the LMS, system data, and system users.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field.
Should have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past 3 years.
At least 2 years of experience providing communication, LMS, educational training and/or knowledge management expertise.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) including experience with software systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills & Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish.
Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to multi - task multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Have the ability to problem solve, identify troubleshooting technical issues, implement improvements, managing and integrating new technologies and features within the LMS.
