You were shown how to download and install the Oracle VM Virtual Box 5.1.0, from www.virtualbox.org. The Virtual Box Manager interface was introduced.You were shown how to download and install the Docker Toolbox, which contains Docker Engine, Compose, Machine and Kitematic. Kitematic quickly creates Containers and Docker Images, that can be "shipped" to the Google Cloud Platform. The Docker Quickstart Terminal was demonstrated, as well as the User Account Control options.You were shown how to create a Docker Hub account with a Docker ID, and you were asked to create one, as a practical exercise.
The Docker Hub Official Repositories (ubuntu, redis, mysql etc.) were shown, together with the Stars and Pulls information. Using the Docker Shell for information on pushing and pulling images, was demonstrated.
