Beginner English 105 is a building block in a set of courses needed to enhance your vocabulary and help you be more self-assured in expressing yourself and conversing in English. This is the fifth course in a series and reinforces what you have learned in the previous courses (Beginner English 101-104). The first section will cover the pronunciation of words relating to time, i.e. days of the week, months and the calendar.

Following this, we will discuss numbers. You will compare ordinal numbers to cardinal numbers and have a sound understanding of the difference and when to use each correctly. Next, we will move on to the grammar section relating to time. You will learn how to tell the time and how to read a clock. The prepositions of time, such as in, at, or on, will be discussed and when to use each correctly.

The final section of this course will go through vocabulary and the associated words relating to events. You will understand how to add adjectives to make the event word more specific. This course will take you through each section step-by-step, using video and audio technology to enhance your learning experience. Don’t hesitate!
