Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality instructional videos using your smartphone (iOS or Android) following Alison’s content guidelines.
 - Edit video and audio using mobile-first or open-source software tools (e.g., CapCut, VN, Kdenlive).
 - Assist with storyboarding and scripting for educational content production.
 - Collaborate remotely with content teams, subject matter experts, and course designers.
 - Record or support the recording of short live training events or local community education segments.
 - Organise and archive raw footage, edited materials, and metadata in a shared digital workspace.
 - Ensure accessibility standards (e.g., clear visuals, subtitles) are met in every video.
 
Candidate Profile
- Basic to intermediate videography skills with a strong grasp of mobile-based video recording.
 - Competence using mobile video editing apps or open-source editing tools.
 - Creative eye for framing, lighting, and clarity in self-shot footage.
 - Strong communication and collaborative skills; able to work with global teams.
 - Interest in education and creating engaging, inclusive learning materials.
 - Experience in teaching/training or producing instructional content is a strong plus.
 - Journalism, citizen reporting, or event coverage experience a distinct advantage.
 
Eligibility Requirements
- Must own a smartphone capable of high-quality video and audio recording.
 - Stable internet connection and a quiet space to record.
 - Availability to contribute 10–15 hours/week for the duration of the internship.
 - Ability to follow production briefs and deliver edited materials on deadline.
 - At least two roles will be filled in Ireland, and at least one in Nigeria. Other global applicants welcome.
