With your help, 2021 was a superb year of growth for Alison. We added nearly 1,500 new courses, a new annual record, and perhaps most importantly, graduated more people than ever, across more than 150 countries.
Thanks for being part of our community and for learning with us and supporting us. We don't get everything right the first time, but every year, we get better at what we do, and reach out and empower more and more people. As we run a very lean operation given our mission to provide most of our services for free, we are dependent on the goodwill of our users to share the benefits of Alison to the world.

In 2021, a record number of experts became qualified as Alison Certified Publishers. It led to Alison increasing its number of publishers by 400% through the year. If you know of someone who is an expert in their field, encourage them to monetise what they know by publishing a free course on Alison. We make our money to pay our bills through advertising and optional paid services. We don't make a lot from any one learner visiting our site, but because millions of people do visit each month, that advertising revenue adds up - and its revenue we gladly share with our publishers.

We also expanded our career services footprint during the past year. Over 200,000 people have now taken our popular Workplace Personality Assessment. If you have not tried it yet, you can complete it in less than 18 minutes.

We also launched a pilot free Mental Health and Well Being test which is going to become an important part of what we offer. For organizations, we launched the coolest of new features at the end of 2021 called Free LMS. If your organization creates a free profile page on the Alison website, you can send your members, employees, and students to that page and get a free report on all the learning activities generated through it. Not only that, you get a free learning report AND you get paid for sending people to learn with us for free through our revenue share programme. You can pick and choose what free courses are prioritized for completion.

A final word of thanks to our global team. Although we started off in the West of Ireland, we now have nearly 200 staff across 31 countries! We are hiring - particularly software engineers, analysts, and online marketing specialists, so if you think you would like to provide free learning and empowerment services to the world, apply to work with us.
