Happy Fibonacci Day!

People around the world are celebrating November 23 (11/23) because the date matches the famous Fibonacci sequence of numbers.

The Fibonacci sequence is as follows: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13… After the first two terms, each term in the sequence is found by adding the two previous numbers.

Why is it important? From the business world of stock trading, to the creative world of art, music and architecture, to understanding natural elements such as humans, plants and animals, the sequence is all around us, even if we don't always see it.
