The TPS Model is a collection of principles and culture that defines the Toyota Motor Corporation's strategic approach and the  depth of Toyota production system. Toyota initially compiled its values, philosophy and manufacturing models in 2001, naming it "The Toyota Way 2001". It comprises of principles in two main areas which were continuous improvement and the second is related to respect for people. The four notable themes under which principles are distributed are listed as:
