    Analysis and monitoring are essential part of most businesses, and also in quality management. The most common methods of monitoring the quality of products, processes or services are referred to as collection of statistical tools known as 7 Quality Tools also known as “The Basic 7”. The 7 QCs are graphical techniques that help professionals analyze data; it can be utilized even by people having a basic understanding of these tools and can be used in a variety of quality-related issues.
     
    The first widespread implementation of these techniques started in Japan popularized by Kaoru Ishikawa, an organizational theorist and professor at University of Tokyo. Ishikawa is also known as the father of Quality Circle and engineer of fishbone diagram.
