Monitoring and measurement of manufacturing processes (Clause - 9.1.1.1): The company must perform process studies on all new manufacturing (including assembly or sequencing) processes to verify process capability and to provide additional input for process control, including those for special characteristics.
Monitoring and measurement of manufacturing processes (Clause - 9.1.1.1): The company must maintain manufacturing process capability or performance results as specified by the customer's part approval process requirements.
Identification of statistical tools (Clause - 9.1.1.2): The company must determine the appropriate use of statistical tools. The organization must confirm that appropriate statistical tools are included as part of the advanced product quality planning (or equivalent) process.  
Application of statistical concepts (Clause - 9.1.1.3): Statistical concepts, for instance process capability, variation, control (stability), and the consequences of over-adjustment, must be understood and utilized by employees 
Performance indicators needs to be based on objective evidence.
Prioritization (Clause - 9.1.3.1): Trends in quality and operational performance must be compared with progress in objectives attainment and lead to action to support prioritization of actions for enhancing customer satisfaction.
