An accessory part is defined as per Clause 3.1 within the automotive QMS definitions as "customer-specified additional components that are either mechanically or electronically connected to the vehicle or power-train before (or after) delivery to the final customer for example:
• custom floor mats
• truck bed liners
• wheel covers
• sound system enhancements,
• sunroofs, spoilers
• super-chargers etc."
