Kanban Board
A Kanban Board is one of the techniques to apply the Kanban method. The basic board is into trifurcated into three different columns, representing the stages of a process, which are:
• Requested
• In Progress
• Completed
 
Kanban boards can be in a physical form or also nowadays electronically. The crux is to envisage the flow of tasks from request to completion and examine where there are underlying bottlenecks waiting to be resolved.
 
Swimlanes
 
Swimlanes are the horizontal rows of a Kanban Board, assisting viewers visually to enhance the workflow. The columns on the Kanban Board exhibit process stages, and on the other hand swimlanes signifies the status of work. Swimlanes can be utilized to exhibit teams, the type of service, status of work with its priority etc.
