What "slides" are you people talking about? I only see video.
This lecturer is almost impossible to consistently understand, he speaks very fast and does not articulate specifics clearly, especially when describing formulae. The charts used in this course are also regularly illegible/impossible to read. This lecturer does not clearly say what values are in charts and formulae. I have had to alter my study notes because the charts and formulae are so difficult to read. And the lecturer often seems to change the 'values' in the formulae, for example he says one formula is "p times one minus p" (for a chart which is impossible to accurately read) and then minutes later he says the same formula is "p bar times one minus p." It is ironic that on a course about Quality Control an precision, the lecturer is imprecise and provides confusing and contradictory information! This is the second module of the course, and I observed this during the first module as well. This is very time consuming and problematic.
screens hard to follow, no text version to compare to video
Nice course
textofvideo.nptel.iitm.ac.in/110105039/lec23.pdf The slide of lecture, hope this help..
If you are using a p chart for percentage of defects per sample, what is the point of having a Lower Control Limit (LCL). If its set a 0 it is irrelevant as you cant get less than 0 defects and if it is higher what is the point because you want as few defects as possible?
Is it possible to get a copy of the viewgraphs? The formulas and contents of the P and C charts are difficult to see the data/information depicted making it difficult to follow the discussion. Thanks
why am i unable to access the lesson on course on six sigma
I am only just starting, but it would be great having all the powerpoint slides available for download, as the quality is quite poor, and it makes reading the equations very difficult, I end up trying other websites and reference sites to work along side this one, if the rest of the modules are lke this, I can see my buying a few books instead, please have all the slides for all the modules available for download Many Thanks
As other people the slides with the formulas are very poor and impossible to follow. also they can not be downloaded.
