Good start. Excellent coverage of content.
I think it is a very good introduction to ID world and a good way to remember basic concepts.
Instructional design is the formalisation of the process of constructing a course or learning module. It is what, as a teacher, I have been doing for years without realising there was a name for it! It involves developing resources and / or a learning platform to best teach the subject required with the ability to evaluate outcomes and success.
Plug in not working. What plug in I eed for samsung tablet ?
Unable to access the modules for instructional design
I think about Instructional Design is plan of systematic process for teaching , training etc.
Looking forward to learning more about the ADDIE model.
the course objectives are succinct and intriguing. i look forward to have all objectives as my drive.
I believe Instructional Design, when demonstrated appropriately, can enhance a lot of the learning and edge the learning curve of training in many big organizations.
Clear explanation of the ADDIE module and how to implement these foundational principles in developing your own web-based training program.
Instructional Systems Design
Welcome to the Introduction to the Instructional Systems Design course. The purpose of this course is to provide you with theoretical and experiential perspectives of Instructional Systems Design
Instructional Design (ISD) is a systematic development of instructional materials using learning theories. It is the process of analyzing needs and developing materials to meet those needs. It includes development of instructional activities and exercises; as well as the evaluation of learners' progress.
After completing this course, you should be able to:
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Instructional Systems Design process;
• Discuss Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs;
• Explain the importance of Malcolm Knowles's concept of andragogy when designing courses for adult learners;
• Identify the components of learning objectives
• Describe Bloom's taxonomy and its effect on learning objectives;
• Identify different ISD models and learning theories;
• Describe the ADDIE model for designing learning;
• Describe the differences among the major ISD models;
• List and explain Gagne's nine events of instruction; and
• Create instructional materials using a systematic design process.
